Jessie Swendig

Jessie is a former Victory player who returned to coach with the club. Jessie was a head and assistant coach for five years, and she also played with Victory for 6 years. Her first two years with Victory she was the 17 Elite Black assistant coach, in 2013 her team qualified for Nationals and finished Top 10 in the USA Division. In 2014, Jessie was the 13 Elite Black assistant coach, and then was that head coach of 13 Elite Black in 2015.
As a Victory player, her team qualified for Junior Olympics every year, and she was named to the JO's All-Tournament team the year her team took 3rd place. Jessie graduated from Plano East Senior High, where she was a four-year Varsity starting Setter.

Jessie attended and played volleyball for the University of Tulsa from 2007-2009. Her freshman year they won the conference championship and made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time in the program's history. She then transferred to Texas A&M to finish her education and started coaching club for Brazos Valley Juniors in College Station. She was the 14 Navy head coach for two club seasons at Brazos Valley. Jessie was also the JV head coach at Brazos Christian School while attending A&M. Jessie is passionate about coaching and playing volleyball, and loves being able to work with athletes of any age.

Jessie graduated from Texas A&M in 2011 and is currently the Asst. VP of Marketing at Neighborhood Credit Union. She and her husband, Brett (& head coach of 16 Elite Black) have two dogs, Jack & Cooper.
