Upon notification of a lab-confirmed COVID-19 case at Victory Volleyball Club, Net Results or any volleyball related activity, the Club will communicate with coaches and families of players who were potentially exposed.

Masks will be required for players and coaches during all Victory activities (practices, cross training, lessons performance, position training, etc.). We will continue this policy while DFW cases are on the rise and in the medically defined 'red zone'. Victory will re-evaluate continuously, but please know we are doing what we hope to be best for all involved.

A player on my Victory team tested positive for COVID-19, am I required to quarantine?
- Did you AVOID socializing before, during, and after practice with the infected person?
- Did you AVOID touching other teammate's hands or face (high-five, slap hands, etc.)
- Did you go wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently (every 30 minutes) during practice?

If you answered YES to ALL of the above question, we allow you to continue participating at Victory events.

If you have had COVID-19 within the past 3 months then you do not need to quarantine.

Does my team have to quarantine from the gym?
Victory will mandate a 14-day team quarantine if 3 or more players on the team receives positive tests or display symptoms.

Who needs to quarantine?
People who have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 excluding people who have had COVID-19 within the past 3 months.
People who have tested positive for COVID-19 do not need to quarantine or get tested again for up to 3 months as long as they do not develop symptoms again. People who develop symptoms again within 3 months of their first bout of COVID-19 may need to be tested again if there is no other causes identified for their symptoms.

If I am part of an outside group that has been quarantined within the last 14 days and I have no symptoms, am I allowed to participate?
NO. If you are part of another group that has been quarantined, then you are not allowed to participate in Victory activities or with your Victory teammates.

I have COVID-19 symptoms, but I choose not to get tested. Is my team still allowed to participate in practices and tournaments?
If a player chooses not to get tested, then they are presumed to be positive for COVID-19.

What would you define as close contact'?
Close contact is defined by CDC as someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes starting from 2 days before illness onset (or, for asymptomatic clients, 2 days prior to positive specimen collection) until the time the patient is isolated. It is difficult to confirm close contact based off of this information as practices involved constant movement.

When can I be around others after I had (or likely had) COVID-19
After 10 days since symptoms first appeared AND at least 24 hours with no fever without fever-reducing medication AND other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving.

Can you tell me who received the positive test?
We are not legally allowed to share the name of the individual who tested positive.

Will my daughter be penalized if we are uncomfortable with her being in the gym after receiving this email?
Absolutely not! We want you to make decisions that you feel comfortable with as we move throughout the season. Please communicate with your coach as to your decisions.
