Sports performance training is training of the body and mind to prepare the athlete for the rigors of a specific sport. It differs from personal training in that the athlete is conditioned and prepared properly to compete in their sport of choice, rather than broader general fitness. Injury prevention, flexibility, strength, explosiveness, and agility are the pillars that this program was built on. Our training sessions are meant to build a foundation for success and to help these athletes succeed at the highest level of competition. Performance training are held weekly and are mandatory for all Elite team athletes to attend. Athletes on non-travel teams may elect to add performance training for an additional fee.
From age 8-12, we are laying a foundation to provide a platform where our athletes are able to grow and advance into elite performers. With this age group, we preach perfection with fundamental athletic movements to develop necessary skills for our athletes to perform better. We create a fun and exciting environment in order to give our athletes a different and better perspective on performance training. Creating a foundation for these young athletes may be the most important step in being an elite athlete.
At age 13-18, these athletes are undergoing many physical changes as they grow into young adults. We begin to teach our athletes how to use their new strength and abilities that come with maturing. With this age group, we continue to perfect fundamental athletic movements while developing flexibility, strength, speed, explosiveness, and agility. In order to maximize the output of our athletes, we begin to challenge them in new ways to develop mental awareness and toughness. During this phase, athletes prepare to face adversity and competition at the highest level.
