Emily Smyder

This is Emily’s first year of coaching at Victory. She is super excited to be an assistant coach and working with the young athletes. Emily’s passions outside of volleyball include her faith, music, and camping. After her senior year at Wylie East, she plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University and major in elementary education. She began her volleyball career in 2nd grade and has played for Victory for 5 years as a MB and an OS. She plans to continue playing for Victory on the 18’s team. Her favorite verse is Ephesians 4:29. Her goal this season is to make a connection with her athletes and show that volleyball can be a really great way to connect with other people.
