Be informed and more knowledgeable of the game so you can support your daughter’s team more effectively!
Mark your calendar and join us for an hour of fun and interactive learning about the game of volleyball. This is highly recommended for all parents of players 14 and under and is open to ALL Victory parents and grandparents. The class will be lead by Erin Hellmuth (Victory parent and currently serving as Victory Coaching Advisor and Parent Liaison) and Craig Thornton (former Victory parent and current USAV certified referee). Our goal is for you to leave with a greater understanding of the game your athlete loves.
Among other things we will be discussing these common questions:
- What constitutes as a double?
- Why are the girls bunched up in an area of the court?
- What do coaches consider when subbing a player?
- What are the rules regarding the libero position?
- What is a 6-2? 5-1?
