Solar Eclipse - Monday, April 8th

In general, we recommend all attendees prepare for additional traffic in the downtown Dallas area due to interest in the eclipse. We also encourage LSC #1 attendees to check out the Visit Dallas page so you can be in the loop on all details.

We have made an adjustment because of the immense amounts of feedback we have received. In order to best allow athletes/coaches/spectators to view the totality on Monday, we have made the following changes:

• First matches on Monday (Day 3 only) will begin at 7:00am
• There will be a pause in play from 1:30pm-2:00pm
• No new gold bracket matches will begin after 12:30pm – these matches will resume after the 1:30pm-2:00pm scheduled pause in play
• No new sets will begin after 1:15pm for all non-gold brackets – these sets will resume after the 1:30pm-2:00pm scheduled pause in play
• Warmup times for these delayed matches/sets will begin PROMPTLY at 2:00pm

A large roll-up door will be open at the back of Hall D from 1:30pm-2:00pm – all attendees inside the halls must exit/reenter through this door to view the eclipse. This is a standing room only outdoor space, NO CHAIRS WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE HALLS AND TAKEN OUTSIDE.

LSC encourages participants that wish to view the eclipse to use approved viewing glasses only!
